April: Dance with Ms. Nagata (Teachers and Principals) 

Shed some stress, sweat a bit and groove to the music with Ms. Nagata.  Throughout the month, we will learn a warm up dance, challenge dance and a cool down dance that we will repeat and build upon each week.  For those brave dancers weekly fancy foot work will be added as an optional challenge.  No or little experience is needed for these dance classes, just bring a water bottle and your dancing feet!  

More Details.

Each month we will focus on an inspiring music artist and dance to their upbeat tunes.  Expect to hear the soulful sounds of Aretha Franklin and Otis Redding along with Bob Marley and Carlos Santana.  The warm up dance which will include stretching and strengthening exercises will repeat month after month though the music will change bringing a different feel and tempo to the dance steps.  This is the only adult dance class Ms. Nagata teaches.  She very much enjoys moving and grooving with the classroom teachers and principals that Nagata Dance partners with.

Preparation for Dance Class with Ms. Nagata:

-Please wear comfortable clothes. Barefoot or tennis shoes are preferable.

-Have water close by for hydration

-We will begin sitting comfortably in front of the device and then we will need as much space to stand and dance as possible

-No headset is needed and volume of the device should be turn up as loud as comfortable.

-Please “rename” yourself so I can address all dancers properly

-Once dance class has begun all participants will be muted.  If your device is having unstable internet try to turn off your video and see if that allows you to have a better viewing experience.  

- All students must be registered and only registered emails will enter into the meeting room.

Dates of Classes: Sundays, April 4, 11, 18, 25

Rate:  $20 for the month
